It has been a paid membership historically. During the last big meeting we had, most members present there wanted to keep it a paid membership. Club board will be deciding on how to go about it going forward. Details will be posted when the decision is made.
A few questions: When is the meeting? Will you post the results? Will a T-shirt be included with membership?
Some quick questions????? How much is membership? Membership to what? the Forum? or to DRILL? What ARE the Benefits of membership to both? I don't seem to see this info in the Membership and Benefits thread. Thanks, Rocketman Bill
To clarify some questions that were posted: The fee is to be a club member. - The idea behind having a fee is to make members have a sense of ownership of the club and attract a group of people that actively participate and volunteer for the club. - The fee helps the club to pay for events, run the forum and fund production of T-Shirts. We do not have any plans to restrict non members to participate on the forum. Forum membership will remain free. DRILL T-shirt is not included with membership purchase. You receive a 'Desmo Owners Club' kit that Ducati sends out every year. Usually includes a T-short, some other goodies and an i.d with your name. You need this id to be eligible for the discounts at MCC and D-Store. This id is proof that you are a current member. I have received word that the 2014 DOC kits are in and will be distributed at the next event in the coming weeks. You will hear more from Mak soon. I have edited the first post of this thread to have membership information on top. Thank you very much for being so patient regarding the membership issue.
