Motorcycle Transportation: ******* Disclosure******* For those wanting to have their bikes transported on Bobby's hauler to Austin, be aware that it will be transported at your own risk. Your insurance must be up to date to ensure that any incidentals are covered. Your bike will be handled by a group of volunteers from DRILL in Chicago and in Austin and will be taken care of as our own Ducati. You are welcome and encouraged to be around during the loading, unloading and strapping it up. As you know, unexpected things can happen. Neither DRILL nor Bobby is responsible for any damages that your bike might incur and we may have you sign a waiver for it. If you choose to take part you must acknowledge to not hold DRILL, board-members, Bobby, the transport company, or anybody else who might be involved in getting your bike to and from Austin liable for any damages. Fees: Due by March 1st $100 - For members $250 - For non-members and members signing up in 2016. (Be advised that club members get first priority until March 1st and then we open the option to ship bikes to non members on a first come first serve basis) Please keep in mind that we cannot make any exceptions on the transportation schedule. Drop-off - Chicago: Sunday, April 3rd at MCC, between 9AM and Noon. Please bring a set of 4 straps and a Canyon Dancer, Bar Harness II that are in good shape with you to secure your bike. Mark your straps with your name. Plan to leave a key with your name on the key ring with us. Please keep a spare key with you so that you have access to your bike when you reach Austin. http://www.canyondancer.com/canyondancerbarharness2 We are hoping to finish loading and strapping the bikes by 2PM and then watch the Argentina MotoGP race that begins at 2PM. We may do some outdoor grilling for lunch, weather permitting. Please bring your favorite grill food and something to drink if you can. Bikes will arrive in Austin by Thursday morning, April 7th or earlier. Riding Gear: You can also free up your luggage by sending your riding gear in the truck. Please put everything in a bag and mark it with a luggage tag. Drop-off Austin: Loading will take place at the hotel on Sunday, April 10th after the race. If you are leaving soon after the race, it is your responsibility to have the bike at the hotel and hand over the key to us. Bikes will be dropped off at MCC most likely by Thursday, April 14th. Keys will be with one of the MCC staff. We will let you know who it is. Please pick up your bikes promptly soon after they reach. Bike Keys will be at the Front desk in the hotel lobby in an envelope with your name on it. Luggage is in the luggage room in the lobby. Please contact hotel staff to claim it. One black duffle bag did not have a name tag on it. We made a tag with DRILL on it.
